The following Course Catalogue offers an in-depth view of our academic courses, clarifying their themes, approaches and suitability for prospective students. We deliver two university-level courses, entitled AI+ (Machine Learning+ or Data Science+) and System Design & Engineering Thinking+, which allow students to apply their knowledge through practical experience and innovative projects. Our OxCam Research course is tailored towards younger students, between 13 and 18 years old, to inspire a passion for academic inquiry and equip them for the challenges of higher education.

AI+ Course
Delivered in association with
We are delighted to deliver this course in association with Cambridge Enterprise, an essential part of the University of Cambridge ecosystem, which supports the application of Cambridge research to drive meaningful social and economic impact. Students can choose from two different course tracks, Machine Learning+ or Data Science+, in which they will develop engaging, interdisciplinary projects under the guidance of industry-leading instructors. In summer 2025, this course will take place between Monday 11th August and Sunday 24th August.
Why study this course?
The AI+ (Machine Learning+ or Data Science+) course prepares university students to lead in the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence. AI is revolutionising industries - diagnosing diseases with bioinformatics, optimising financial markets, accelerating sustainable design and redefining creativity. This course goes beyond theory, equipping students with experience in developing projects that attend to real-world problems using AI and data science.
Guided by leading industry experts and professors at the University of Cambridge, students collaborate, innovate and explore indisciplinary links within their chosen track. The academic sessions focus on sharpening critical thinking and technical expertise, as well as empowering students to make a real impact. The course is equivalent to 6 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System credits (ECTS) or 3 US credits.

System Design & Engineering Thinking+
CL Global Academy is proud to partner with the University of Cambridge's Department of Engineering to deliver this course each summer and winter. In 2025, it will take place from Monday 28th July to Sunday 10th August.
Why study this course?
The System Design & Engineering Thinking+ course is meticulously crafted to equip university students with a comprehensive understanding of systems thinking, enabling them to perceive and analyse the interconnectedness of various components within complex systems. The curriculum emphasises the practical application of a system engineering approach, illustrating how theoretical concepts translate into real-world solutions.
Additionally, the course fosters essential interpersonal skills, encouraging collaboration, communication and problem-solving within a team setting, ultimately preparing students to effectively contribute to multidisciplinary projects in their professional careers. CL Global Academy's OxCam Research course prepares students between the ages of 13 and 18 for advanced academic challenges and higher education. This course interweaves core theoretical knowledge with innovative practical applications, combining rigorous content with a collaborative learning approach. This year, it will take place from Monday 28th July to Sunday 10th August 2025.
Why study this course?
At the core of the OxCam Research course is an ethos of academic excellence, innovation and global collaboration. This course allows students to engage with advanced academic principles and cutting-edge research, under the guidance of eminent professors, scholars and industry experts. Students are not simply passive observers to their own learning but rather active, engaged participants, who continually apply and challenge their existing knowledge.
Students can choose from seven different subject tracks, which are further customised for their unique interests through self-driven projects and bespoke teaching approaches. Each subject track is designed to spark curiosity and sharpen students' thinking, while building their confidence in approaching increasingly complex academic ideas. The course offers more than just world-class teaching – our students interact with diverse viewpoints, collaborate on challenging projects and confidently articulate their own ideas.
Throughout the course, students develop a crucial foundation in critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptive reasoning and independent study. This not only empowers them to make meaningful progress in their studies, but also to cultivate the skills required to thrive in higher education and beyond.
